four of swords
This card is about mending, isolating ourselves and healing before we continue the fight. Sometimes we have to go off alone (even in thought) to truly rest. It comes between the severity of our wounds in the three of swords and the conflict coming our way in the five of swords. We need to mend our mind, body and spirt between hard times to continue to have the strength to fight the important battles (or not fight at all). Not fighting the battle is often the best way. Putting down your sword and allowing yourself to be calm, at peace, to walk away. It’s about not going into battle, but instead going into deep meditation. A place of introspection (like the Hermit) we can often only find within ourselves and a long time out.
This video series is my own personal perspective of each card and as a Tarot reader, I see different things in the cards for each client. I'm only speaking for myself and these videos are intended to be positive and show my love of the Tarot (in under a minute). Enjoy!
