SIX OF CUPS

This card is full of emotion. On the surface, it’s a card of joy and revisiting your childhood. But also about healing your inner child and often a painful card of childhood memories. Even the memories of joy can be painful because you want that time back again, you want that kid back again. This card is bright and yellow and full of innocence, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t melancholy or straight up painful. I tell my clients we have to be our own mothers (and fathers!) and love our inner child like no one else can. We have to be safe in ourselves beyond family. It took me years to get to a point to begin work on that and it’ll be life long work. Even if our  parents who did the very best they could, as humans we can still feel stuck sometimes, never moving past those childhood days when we could truly dream without the weight of life experience. I’m 52 years old, but dress like a child and I still love toys, especially Monster High dolls. And I can have all those things and still function in the adult world (run a business, be a police officer). But that child inside is who I REALLY am. I try every day to see things through the eyes of a child, to not lose that need for dreaming and feeling if I trust the Universe (and myself), it will all work out. Faith in your SELF.

This video series is my own personal perspective of each card and as a Tarot reader, I see different things in the cards for each client. I'm only speaking for myself and these videos are intended to be positive and show my love of the Tarot (in under a minute). Enjoy!
