The Spellbook ∘ Page 12

The gentle strength of this card reminds me to continue my goal of cultivating a “lion heart”. To me that means a soft heart, one of healing, one of helping and one of patience, but also having enough love for yourself to have boundaries, discernment, to choose wisely with your love and your strengths. It’s about inner strength, quiet strength it takes to support others, but not forget about yourself. The mental effort of resolve and patience (even holding your tongue because you feel another person’s place of pain, so you let it roll off). A card of TRUSTING YOURSELF (and your “lion heart”) enough to know you can proceed gently. No need to muscle your way through. As a police officer who was physically smaller than most so I had to use my words (and my heart) and go in from a place of authenticity and when it worked, people felt I meant no harm, I was there to help. There’s of course the other side of the lion as well if the situation calls for it, but that’s another card for another day.

This video series is my own personal perspective of each card and as a Tarot reader, I see different things in the cards for each client. I'm only speaking for myself and these videos are intended to be positive and show my love of the Tarot (in under a minute). Enjoy!
